This was my first visit to this practice. (10/13/23) I’ve been given 3 different diagnoses by 3 different veterinarians in the last few weeks & a friend recommended that I visit this facility. I’m so glad that I did. They genuinely listened to my concerns, they were thorough with the evaluation, thorough with their explanation of everything & the staff was overall kind and caring. They even brought her a bowl of water because she was panting so hard. I wasn’t ‘nickel and dimed’ either. I was given a high & low estimate based on what she absolutely needed & what she might possibly need. The total ended up actually being lower than expected. My dog is severely anxious & usually races back to me after she has been taken in the back at vet offices. She wasn’t as upset when she came back to me as she usually is after she has been taken in the back at other facilities. They really took their time and had extra patience with her due to my warning about her anxiety. She has another appointment with Dr. Spranklin tomorrow 10/16/23. I have complete confidence that she is in great hands at Weston Lakes Animal Hospital. They have definitely earned a new patient for life!
If you love your pet, please don't bring them to this location. They simply don't care. From the receptionists to Doctors, they just don't.
Our dog went there to get her annal glands expressed and because she was really anxious her nail snapped. They said it would be a one day thing and that the glue they put on it would do.
A day later the paw is worst and we bring her back. They tell us she needs a cast and that it would be a 4 day thing. They told us she needed a cone and Trazadone, so she wouldn't take it off. We made sure she didn't touch that thing for 4 days. We paid for Trazadone. $70 for 10 pills.
But after a fight they didn't charge for the cast.
4 days later we bring the dog back to take the cast off and now she has an infected/inflamed paw. See the picture. My husband tells them we won't pay for the antibiotics because this was all their fault. The receptionist gives my husband such a hard time that he has a panic attack from stress, only then they call the manager who gives the medication for free.
My husband comes back home shaking with our dog worst then before, tells me everything and I go there to talk to the manager, who ok the surface looks really nice, but after he is contracting himself with information he is giving me I ask to talk to a the owner, who apparently has Covid and can't talk to me. I say I won't leave the clinic until they talk to me so they call the police.
Long story short, don't bother with them. We will make sure to tell all our friends with pets to go elsewhere. Now we have a dog on a cone for 2 weeks that doesn't function with a cone, a baby and my husband who is super stressed with all of this.
Very good attention, everyone very friendly. The place clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to take my pet here. They took very good care of my dog.
I wanted to personally thank all the staff for being extremely supportive and dedicated for my pet Hana's needs. They truly went above and beyond every doctors would do. Even though Hana had fight so hard to live, we did what was necessary for her. My special love goes to Dr. Rivera dedicating a long year battle with Hana's diagnosis including researches for the best treatment plans.
I will forever be in debt to your team.
Thank you once again!
They are great 👍 I bought a puppy 🐶 for my son and they know me so well that they ask me for my own pet. The best vet hospital ever. …
Excellent hospital, all staff are very nice and knowledgeable the attention and the service is 10/10. The facility is very clean. I love the convenience on making appointments online and that they open even Saturdays and Sundays even when is a holiday. It surprised me they were very concerned for my pet that they were calling me the next day to ask how she was doing. Don’t doubt to take your pets here!
It was our first visit and they help us from the moment I called the day before asking for help with our puppy. The team is excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. I will make this my go to place from a routine visit to any emergency we might have (knock on wood, hope minimum to none) thank you on behalf on our family, specially Lila.
This was my first visit. I was accompanying my bro-in-law who was bringing his high-energy pup in. The staff i encountered had the best attitude, very caring. Yeah, their business is about the animals, and the presumption should be that animal-lovers should be the default. But, good going guys!
